IRELAND 1916 CENTENARY PROGRAMME IN COUNTY WEXFORD

Role of Ireland 2016 Project Office

Wexford County Council would like to acknowledge the role played by the Ireland
2016 Project Office through their guidance in the planning and preparation of the
County Wexford Easter Monday Commemoration (nationwide synchronised wreath-
laying ceremony) associated parade and celebration and also with the official re-
opening of The Athenaeum, Enniscorthy, County Wexford.

The County Wexford Centenary Programme was launched by Mr. Seán Doyle,
President of the County Wexford 1916 Centenary Commemorative Committee

together with the Chairman of Wexford County Council, Cllr Tony Dempsey on 9
November, 2015.
